I own nothing but leather. Cloth is dead to me on vehicle interior seating. Had an Explorer, Oldsmobile, and Grand Prix with cloth seats I slightly ripped the left sides after 2-years, imports are just a cheap. I do have a Volkswagen Jetta with leather seats and I love them, no rips since 2003 and my kids and wife work this car to death. If you all are worried about your seats put a seat cover. Also when getting out of the car, pick yourselfs up out of the vehicles, pick yourselfs up and do not put lots of stress on the seats by dragging your body. If you do no seating will resist no matter who makes them. My dad a retired vehicle upholsters seen these problems everyday as he work at customizin and fixing ripped seats. :nono: :csweeney:

I've already conditioned my Leather seats with Meguiars Rich Leather Cleaner and Conditioner. I have used the Meguiars on my 97 SHO for Years, Most people who see the SHO interior think it is a "New Car". I Love Leather. I think Ford Leather is Pretty good stuff. One of my previous cars was a Lincoln Continental (I used the Meguiars on it too) when I sold it with 140,000 miles on it, once again the seats still looked Great. Keep them conditioned and CLEAN and they wear very well over the years. That's Just my Experience with Ford Leather.

I haven't noticed any wear and tear on the leather yet. I just drove about 1,100 miles from Michigan to Florida and had a great trip.

If you don't like the wrinkles on your seats Iron them. (try at your own risk) With a light hand and some water just slowly and constantly move the iron until the wrinkles are gone. We do the exact same thing at work on the escape/mariner/tribute leathers if nothing else I'd do it just to even it out.

That is weird! I do have noticed a bit of more of a wear on that outer part of the seat. But like they say its normal to see the wrinkles. And I guess I wore new black jeans s I did notice some rub-off, ut Just clean it wiht the leather cleaner and it should be fine. :)

I hate ANYTHING Armor All. They use petrolieum distillates and it eats up the leather nad plastic. I think I spelled it right. Look it up.

has anyone changed their cloth seats to leather ? Do they sell aftermarket leather covers for all the interior seats in the fusion?

There are custom shops out there that will put leather over your factory cloth. I'm not aware of any direct replacements that are already made. I contacted 2 shops about just adding a contrasting color and it was very expensive (see my comments on the "Suede Seat Inserts" thread). They both told me that working on the seats is very time consuming (high labor cost) plus the cost of the leather. It may not always be the highest quality leather, but getting the leather option from the factory is a good deal as far as price is concerned.
