Well, I finally stepped up and traded my truck in (2004 F150 SuperCrew Lariat) for a 06 white Fusion SE , i had to do it because gas prices where killing me and insurance and everything combined....well....i been trolling around here for the past month now its time to start being active, ill have pics up of the car tomorow....right now ill post some pics of my truck....

well did my first mod lol....hopefully i dont get addicted, i shaved the truck emblems....

i love how clean it looks....im not a newb into modding so im sure this is only the begining....i need to get new HID bulbs so i can install them, our cars use h11 right?? time to order some 6000k hid bulbs to match up with my ballasts ...an then i can install my strobes led's an siren lol...this is gonna be fun

yea i know, im thinkin about paintin them though to match body color...i dont feel like spendin 50 bucks on some chrome/plastic lol...

IF YOU PAINT THE INSERTS THEN YOU NEED TO PAINT ALL OF THE CHROME. IT WOULD LOOK GOOD IN WHITE

I traded in a F-150 supercrew as well! It was a 2003 XLT FX4. i miss is sooooo much! but just like you the gas prices were killing me. paying 80 some $ to put gas is insane. I love my fusion though don't get me wrong, but nothing like driving a big truck!

Just a comment - I put high-output bulbs in my Ford Contour when I had it, and the light yellowed the clear lenses after about a year.

My wife's Contour with standard bulbs didn't change color. I assumed it was the bulbs, and have been hesitant to make that mod again!

Its just the plastic and the UV rays. Maybe the bulbs helped it yellow faster. There are methods of getting the yellow off too. Got to contour.org and search for it and you'll find complete directions on how to refinish them. They'll look like new again.

i had HID in my car for about 2 years had no problems, an had no problems with the truck , i dont expect to see any probs with this car's headlights turning yellow...
