Just bought a mazdaspeed 3! It’s got just under 180,000 miles, so it’s showing some wear for sure, but cosmetically it’s in great shape. It’s been leaking a bunch of oil which worried me, and I have noticed some problems with the suspension. I already put new struts on it front and back, and I’m exited to start working on it this summer. This is my first turbo car so any advice is appreciated. I’m pretty handy in the garage but I’ve only worked on hard >10 times.

I would recommend first putting some reliability mods, assuming the pervious owner didn't, for your turbo. Some basic ones are an oil catch can, blow off valve (I recommend HKS Hybrid since it gives you the sound and doesn't completely blow out all the boost), and using proper oil. Also make sure the oil lines are connected and fine, don't need your turbo to blow up or melt :D .
