June 2007 Retail Sales (excluding fleet sales).

43,000 Camrys vs only 9,100 Fusions! Holy Carp! At least it is outselling the "North American Car of the Year" Saturn Aura. The new Sebring is pretty dismal, too!

I think that people just buy the camry and accord for the name. A guy I work with is all over the new camry. I keep trying to talk some sense into him, but he just keeps saying the camry has been around for years, and has a great reputation. He thinks for some reason that the camry is some sort of status car.

Surprising that the Sonata outsold the Fusion.

I think the fusion is gaining momentum and will continue to do well and sell better with time. Sixth place isnt bad. people definetly get way to excited about the honda's and toyota's. I'd rather have a subaru or VW out of that list. Everyone but honda and toyota are doing poorly though looking at those numbers!

Check out these % retail figures. Chrysler is soooo screwed! Nearly 80% fleet sales for the Avenger and a dismal 63.5% fleet for the Sebring. Now you know what the rental queens are.
