I am struggling here. I have never ran into this problem. I am trying to hook my amp to the battery but can not find a place in the firewall to run the wire. Anyone experienced this ?

My amp wire passes through a grommet under the drivers side dash. It's located above the carpet line, behind the brake pedal. You can't really see it in the engine compartment, because the battery blocks your view. Find the grommet from the inside first and you shouldn't have any problems.

theres a white plastic peice under the drivers side dash above the peddels i drilled threw that ran the wire thew and sealed it after.

i wound up popping a small hole in the rubber gasket that the huge bundle of wires is in that goes into the firewall. it's behind and down some from the battery. sketchy, but it works great.
