new job=new toys!!! would be my guess. Start looking down south/south west because any fox bodied mustang up here will be a rust bucket. Even for the additional $500-800 to have it shipped from the southwest would make up for any repairs you would have to make to rotted out torque boxes and under carriage.
there is a little known place about 1/2 mile from my parents' house called Donnie's Marine Shop. It is a marine shop that does absolutely nothing marine. It's ALL mustangs and fords. They use highway 115 in front of the shop/parents' house because the stoplight to next stoplight is 2 miles of pure straight away.
they have several notchbacks for sale including a 92 Notchback with 40,000 miles. It was a South Carolina Highway Patrol Vehicle used strictly for car chases. It is immaculate except for drill holes, they hopped up the motor with a supercharger and swapped a Tremec T-56 in. I would KILL to have it.
ive been on the hunt for a clean fox for quite a bit now. its hard to fine one that isnt beat to shit, rusty, has a million miles, or the owner wants big $$ for it. happy hunting.
