Thats weird. When I built the car on the Ford website it said it does come with bright tips. And, it also states that on the window stickers.

i just looked at teh ford site and saw the same thing. all of the i4 sel's that i have seen on the road or at the dealership did not have the bright tips. mayne this is a new thing from ford. i picked up a couple of tips at pepboys for 5 bucks each and i think they look great, much better than that dull steel.

I saw an add in Toronto where they were selling a "Sirius satellite" edition (this was way back in early 06). It came with the radio and Chrome tips. I then b-lined to my dealer to get the tips (I already had the radio), and they looked at me like I was on crack. They had no idea. They said go check an after market shop, and that Ford does not supply them. But, at least they are out there (apparently)

I think the question should be about a chrome tip (singular) since the I4 only has one exhaust tip. No, a single chrome tip is not available stock on an I4.

No it has dual exhaust tips.
