Can be FWD or AWD. And priced close to Fusion prices. In ALL Fusion trim levels and colors. It'll look good next to my SEL.
My family has always had Chevrolet. I broke the mold when I bought the 66 Merc then again with the 07 Merc. I would probably have bought Merc for the rest of my life... sadly that can only be achieved now with the purchase of classic/rare Mercs'.

One day... you will know.... we are assembling a team right now to bring the wrath of winter to Texas.
I was trying to keep idea SIMPLE so Ford could use parts ALREADY available to the Fusion. My idea is to cut about 4" behind front door to give a little bit of room to recline front seat and stow spare tire and stuff. Cut down to where side lines of Fusion are undestrubed. Create a bed and use trunk license area as tailgate. I figured the more simple the more Ford "MIGHT" do it. No separation of front-rear sections. I also thought--NO WOOD TONE!! A GT model could use the new in-line 4 with a turbo. A GTX(Extreme) could use the SHO set up. 80% of the tooling is already there--so I figure the first RANCHERO should be out spring of 2012. Thanks Ford!!
