MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY

I was reading around the forum and read that if you've ever had your PCM reflashed, the sticker on the PCM (which has the code needed to get your tuners tunes) is no longer valid.

Right after I bought my fusion (used with 17000 miles on it), I took it in to since it was idling low. I knew there was a TSB out that addressed with issue, saying the software in the PCM needed to be updated.

5 months later, I bought my SCT tuner. I gave my Steeda guy the code that was on the PCM. I haven't received it yet, so i'm not sure if there is a problem, but I guess my question is:

When they updated my PCM, was that considered REFLASHING the PCM?? Or was it just a software update, and I have no need to worry??

You will have to use the tuner to read the new code, and have Steeda send you the new tune files.
