Im looking at purchasing a fusion 08' (no, no milan or zephyr) sometime in the future and I just want to know where to find M.S.R.P's or how much the factory makes the cars for. I know browsing the net can do it but I want to know some where I can specifically look (or if there is) a place to find this with out "Quotes" and stuff. The fusion I would like is either an SE or SEL with SAP, ambient lighting, 17' rims, in red, traction control, and .

I think it comes something like $24,045 for the SE
and $24,750 for the SEL.

I still dont know what I want but Could some one help me on how far you think the price could be brought down on each ? Thanks :)

Hi FusionManiac. :wavey: Yes. Go to www.kbb.com (that is the Kelly Blue Book site).

Follow the prompts to work up the price of the Fusion you want. The KBB site will give you the MSRP and Invoice pricing of the options and the total vehicle. It will also give the current Incentives available for the vehicle in your region.

That will give you a general idea of where to begin.

Good luck!

Hi FusionManiac. :wavey: Without knowing someone who can get you an AXZ-Plan PIN (Ford Employee Purchase Plans), and before all eligible Incentives or Rebates are deducted, the short answer is no.

Of course, there are always exceptions to every rule, but in general, on a car that is selling relatively well, it will not happen. And the Fusion is a car which is selling relatively well.

If you can get down to within several hundred dollars of Invoice (again, before all eligible Incentives and Rebates are deducted), you have negotiated yourself a good deal. And when I say within several hundred dollars of Invoice, I mean including all fees and charges other than tax and title. This includes "Documentation", "Dealer Prep", "Computer Usage", etc, etc.

Hope this information helps. Good luck!

Even Ford's site used to list invoice price when you were done building your ride. You should be able to buy near invoice -- in addition to rebates. Pricing also highly depends on "if you have a trade-in".

I like those new 18's too and would consider putting those on my Milan with dedicated summer rubber and converting the 17's to winter only with some good snow tires. The price would have to be right for the wheels, though.

Sorry kevjur, but I think the new 18 inchers with the gray pockets look WAY better than the old 17's. Add in the 45-series low profile tires, and they look killer on the car. Each to his own, however! :D
