Its true, the delay was caused due to the Claycomo Plant not being finalized for the Fusion changes. Thats what happens when Ford idles the Atlanta plant, and downgrades the chicago plant. When its time to meet certain, non-mustang deadlines, they run into delays.
Ford wants to release the Hybrid as a 2008.5, or at least as a 2009 Model year car. By no means is ford way behind, they just couldnt meet the 2008 deadline without running into problems.
