Hi, i just replaced 4 tires on one of my 09 fusions. during the process one of my banded sensors failed . though i did not know witch one. i found a ford dealer who had the tool /transmitter shown $ 60 when asked if it would work on my car the parts dept at dealer checked with service and they said had to be scanned with there lap top. long story short i purchased the transmitter on line for much less 4 days later used it . it worked ! found out it left rear then had sensor changed .to valve smart type. then i ended up doing the reset for them with my little transmitter they were having difficulty with shops scanner .my conclusion this transmitter worked on my 09 fusion
I've had a "tire pressure sensor fault" message. I bought a programming tool and found that front right tire can't be learned. So I bought a new sensor and just mounted it. But it still can't be learned. The first front left tire does give a chirp, so the tool works. What can be the other issue? Or can it be a problem with the receiving unit?
