I was thinking of getting rid of the chrome up front (or at least painting it black) has anyone taken theirs apart yet? What is involved in doing this?

pop the hood, remove a few screws + a few clips and im sure it will come off. I would bet 20 mins tops. Just a guess tho....

I would imagine it would be as stated above me. Alot of people have painted it black. IMO the grille is one of the cars selling points, its a major part of the cars style. Blacked out would be better than getting rid of it entirely.

I agree with Otaku, the chrome grille looks especially killer on a black Fusion w/ chrome wheels.
