How do you get wax off windows?

If it is wax...
If the haze is indeed wax, then use a 50/50 mix of water and rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) available just about everywhere. Given that will remove wax from the finish of a car without doing any harm to the finish, I would bet that same mixture will remove the wax from the windshield. If not, then you can always look for a glass polish product.
