[SGs FUZION]

Hi All...
As this aspect of 'exterior mod' has not been touched upon (to my knowledge) or even mentioned in the 'ext mod' thread (as far as i can tell)...I ordered these a week or so ago for an 'exercise in aesthetics'...basically a 'whadda think about these'...ultimately ...'should I or shouldn't I.'
The scoop on the left is a Lund...the one on the rite is a AVS.
These are ABS, nonfuntional, stick on scoops & the smallest I could find. Got both from JCW with a RMA enclosed just in case they are both 'poo-poo'd' by 1 or all.

Anyway...here are some shots of them on the car in the 'ram air' position & 'cowl induction' position.

Neither, in my taste. If you HAD to do one -- do the AVS Ram Air.

I think they would look better maybe if you had two smaller ones. And put them down near the front of the hood. IDK.

I think this would be perfect for those who have photoshopping abilities. Let them play with it and see what they can come up with.

I've never been a big fan of fake hood scoops. If you're gonna do it, make sure they work.

that's why I loved the Mach 1 so much, an actual functioning shaker hood. I still wish I had jumped on one when I had the chance.

I look at those new mustangs with the california package with the bolt on hood scoop, I cannot warm up to now.

A hood scoop on a Fusion: :awais: naw, that looks terrible in my opinion. It is like putting a mohawk on a well dressed accountant. The Fusion is beautiful. It has a nice sleek look to it. It barely passes the sporty look as a good looking car by adding the body kit, wing, rims, and grill. But adding a hood scoop? Thats going a little bit too far. I wouldn't do it.

To be honest I think a hood scoop on the fusion just looks plain silly. Just my 2 cents.

Hi All... Thank you all for responding to my 'experiment'...your honesty is much appreciated...as fellow Fusionites, i value your opinions regarding anything & everything concerning our Fusions....positive or negatively. Well....it seems this matter can be shelved...packed them up & on thier way back to JCW...and i'll use the $ towards one of these hoods....

Maybe we can get Larry @ Steeda to do one of these up for us...i'm sure they wood sell like hotcakes...i'd definately put one on mine!

or...how about something like this...FPV's Force 8's hood?....

The black rendition of the 06' falcon does not show us what you want us to see. But I have many other pics of the same car. It looks bstter red! I also still prefer the F-BOMB. I had considered Having a local auto body modify my hood to duplicate it!

The hood on on the SVT F-Bomb looks bad @ss :metalcord: if someone made that i would buy it so far all i have seen is a carbon fiber stock looking hood.

The same goes for the front facia with the air scoops to cool the front brakes! That I can't fabricate though.
