  Hello everybody.  I just discovered this forum!  We picked up our new MKZ on 11/21, and love it.  We have only put on about 300 miles, but the ride and handling are beautiful.  Paint and interior fit and finish seem to be spot on also.
  I had waited for 2007 and the changeover to the 3.5 liter engine, and it was worth the wait.  We had factory ordered it, FWD (not much need for AWD where I live), with Alloy Metallic Clearcoat and the Light Stone interior.  HID Headlights, Chrome Wheels and Air Conditioned seats.  No sunroof (wife didn't want it), NAV System (I enjoy not knowing where I am as I get older  :lol, Sirius Radio or Satin Trim Package.
  No matter how old I get, I still get excited whenever I purchase a new car.  The car elicits many admiring looks from people, and questions as to what model it is, cost etc.
  Anyway, I just wanted to say hello, and hope I can be a productive member of the boards as time goes on!  Thanks.

Well, add me to the list...I picked up our new MKZ yesterday...it is jet black with stone white dark wood interior...scrumptious! It has every option. I've driven about 100 miles in stop & go and fwy & think it is a diamond in the rough, very understated/perhaps under-rated by those who would never drive a Lincoln. I traded in a BMW 330 CI, which I absolutely loved, but thought I needed a four door after 5 years in a coupe. I have nothing against BIMMERs at all, but just don't want to spend $50 big ones for a 5 series. The Lincoln is $15,000 less and so far, so good. I wanted to give the Home team a little support while they are down, but wouldn't have if the car had been crummy...This is a very nice product and based on what I've read and experienced so far, MKZ looks to be a good one! Check out the lates Motor Trend. They actually have a nice article about the Lincoln MKZ. They say some pretty nice things about it. This is unusaual for Motor Trend to actually say anything positive about anything made by GM/Ford. I know because I have been a subscriber now for over 15 years!
