:shock: I have owned this car for 5 months now and never noticed that my steering wheel doesn't lock!?? Wife actually noticed after she drove it. I just never lock my steering wheel.. Anyone else?? I have an SEL V6 with the tilt/telescoping steering wheel and have tried moving it every which way and trying to lock it and it doesn't???

Anyone have an Idea? :?

Just checked mine and it does not lock either. Are we missing somthing?

Sel 06, Mine locked with half turn right. :? Try moving shifter from drive back into park a few times before turning off and key out. I do not think the shift lock relay has anything to do with,but it can not hurt to try. The key ignition lock controls this I thought...

I just check mine and when turning right it goes from the 12 o'clock to the 3 o'clock positions. But when turning left it goes from 12 o’clock to the 3 o’clock position, almost a full turn going left. My wife will be home in a bit will check hers as well.

Tried my stearing wheel again and it does lock way over at the positions indicated. Kind of weird, but it locks..

Don't even worry about it, if they want to steal it it'll be gone anyway...thats what your paying that high-priced full coverage insurance for.

I actually have gotten mine to lock - if I come across it again, I'll let you know.
