I was wondering the same thing myself. I figure they will just do a head unit swap, but for how much?

Anyone???

the HD receiver is just an add-on module just like the factory sirius tuner. you would not need to swap the head unit out. If you have sirius then you'll probably have to remove that in order to use the HD.

either way, the OEM HD receiver will probably cost much more than it's worth. the factory stereo doesn't sound good enough to take advantage of the higher quality audio of HD radio. the best option would be to replace the factory stereo with a decent aftermarket stereo instead.

I was interested in this to but as you said the system doesn't sound that great so it'd be a waste to add on. Hell I don't even use my sirius anymore (just local fm and cds) It'd be nice though to have this in my next car

Stock swap will probably cost you eleventy billion dollars.

Honestly, a baseline Nav system will probably only run you 300 bucks more.
