This is rediculous. My car only has 2000mi on it and my rockers look like this. They're almost white! The geniuses at Ford make mud flaps for the REAR but not the front???? I don't care about the cars behind me!!!!!! I feel sorry for those who have a black car.....

I think I'm going to just let it go until I get my 3D Carbon kit, which would cover that up. Then I'll cover everything from the trim line down in 3M PPF. Ford said it's dealers choice to warranty it or not and they said they would. I got to thinking about it and I'd rather not risk a bad repaint.

That really doesn't look like the kind of wear you see caused by continuous gravel and stuff getting thrown up over time. That looks more like a one-time hit with some large debris. When you look closely at it, do you see lines, or do you see dots?

According the the accessory catalog the mud flaps come in a pack of 4. Won't be to happy if the dealer only installs 2.

Also, it occurs to me, could we have that clear flim installed under the car there to protect the paint? I was thinking of having that done also to the front along with the window tinting.

I'm a dealer for Xpel/3M and I've been in contact with Xpel (the design company) to make a rocker panel/lower door kit for the Fusion. It should be ready shortly. Before you look into a clear bra, read my post in the detailing forum. If you need me to help you find a good installer, PM me and I'll look someone up.

I bought some mud flaps for the front and they didn't fit. The hump prevents them from sitting flat. I had to cut them to fit. They look ugly but they're better than any more stone chips.

Llumar is junk. 3M and Avery are the two best films, that's what you want on your car. Where are you located? I have contacts all through the country.

A little no place back woods kinda small texas town!

Earmark is in Plano, which is a few miles north of Dallas .. so anyplace north east of dallas would be good ..

Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Richardson, Garland, etc ..

Traffic through Dallas is beyond beliefe horrible most times so places on the south and west side of Dallas wouldn't be so hot ..

Dallas, Irving, Fort Worth, Grand Prarie, etc ..

If you want to spend $700 to find out if what I didn't tell you is true then go ahead. People think they're experts on everything just because they read something on the internet........... :frostyfire:

Well that's a bit harsh! Did you even read what I wrote on the other post? I think it was pretty fair, and unbiased.

Also, keep in mind that you have come on here and made some pretty uncompromising claims. I don't know you from adam, and infact I'm reading your words on the internet too come to think of it!

So .. I ask for objective evidence, because I'm not expecting someone who sells product X to be objective about it relative to product Y (especially in such a public place where his words will be saved for all time). You shouldn't take offense but be willing in the interests of promoting your product to provide that information.
