Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum as I just bought new Fusion yesterday. I would like to upgrade my lightbulbs in the headlights but I read some horror stories about melting wires and stuff...
I red through a lot of posts and noticed "daniel stern lighting website". I looked there and noticed that he had mentioned that H11 could be replaced with H9 but it is possible to get distortion.

I was wandering if anyone has tired this and what were your results. And would you even suggest something like that.

Thanks in advance for your responses

I have heard of a rumor... but never cared to look into the matter and I have H11 HIDs and not a problem... knock on wood.

I'm sure it could be possible, as I shoved a 9005 into an 893 spot for my foglights on my truck. I'm sure there are other similarities out there like that.

Well I am just not sure. You know how it feels when you get a brand new car... you dont want to take chances.
Maybe I'll just go with those luminics ultra whites off e-bay.

Has anyone heard of problems with focusing?

I just got a response from daniel stern lighting website and they are saying that it shouldnt be a problem as long as lenses are aimed right. I think that I will try it and if it looks ok without much hussle i will keep it.

Has anyone tried this??
