I just saw their add in a car magazine and checked out their website. It looks like they have tint/protection kits for the headlights, foglights, and taillights.

From their website (http://lamin-x.com/)

"2006+ Ford Fusion Headlight and Fog light Kit. Precut kit includes handling tabs for ease of installation, application tool, & complete installation instructions. All films designed to protect the lights from rock chips and damage. Colored films add style along with that protection."

"Lamin-x precut kits cover both Ford Fusion 06- taillights. Precut kit includes handling tabs for ease of installation, application tool, & complete installation instructions. ** Gunsmoke allows 90% light output ** **Smoke-Out Kits allow 83% light output** **Charcoal Kits allow 70% light output**"

my friend used this stuff on his mustang lights and they turned out REALLY good. as long as you're not impatient and let this stuff dry properly before adding other coats.

turns out great, i just bought some cans of it. Im gonna do my cars lights, and ill up some picks.

also, the stuff can be removed using like... mineral spirits or something along those lines, so if you fuck up, you can fix it. and no, a simple car wash will not remove the tint ;D

that lamin-x stuff is on the www.fswerks.com site. theirs no link, but i looked it up a while ago.

I wrote in a thread a while back about the lamin-x stuff and everyone and I mean EVERYONE on this site boo hooed it. ,,,i.e......why would you tint your lights, that's dumb, I'm sure it's illegal, you won't be able to see at night, you don't want to diminish the integrity of your lights....................hey GET OVER IT, I put the stuff on, I got the blue tint on my silver SEL V6 and I get nothing but compliments and the cops don't have any problems with it. I drove right to the cop shop and showed them. AND........................I can see just fine at night on a dark country road.
So to all..............put that in your pipe and smoke it ,baby!!!!!

I've seen some pictures with the headlights tinted and they look very cool- especially on a dark colored car. I personally wouldn't tint the headlights due to safety concerns and the fact that they headlights don't work well to begin with.

Now the tail lights are a different story. I hate the chrome on the tail lights so I would love to cover it with something. I tried to tint mine last year with some tint from Rvinyl but didn't have the skill and patience to install it without wrinkles. This product from Laminx sounds like it might be easier to work with. I'm tempted to give it a try.

Lamin-X and Rockblocker are both high quality. I had Rockblocker on my Neon fogs, and was pleased. Don't forget the added protection you also get from these thick films.
