I'm very impressed with this pricing, of course it was kind of anti-climactic since the build-a-Fusion site went up a couple months ago. I don't think they could have announced a higher price than what was posted there anyway.
As for interior quality, I haven't been close enough to touch one, but from what I saw at an autoshow earlier this year, the interior materials are at least as good as the Five-Hundred.That means the dash plastics may be a little harder and thinner than the competition (but still perfectly acceptable), but the cloth upolstery should be as rich as anything in the industry. I thinks thats a good tradeoff, and, at that price, its harder to complain.
