The fusion caught my attention first but when I started comparing the two since they are the same price essentially, the milan started to grow on me. My only gripe is that I wish the milan's interior was a little more different than the fusion to further differeniate it from the fusion.

Exterior: I give the edge to the milan

Interior: Although they are basically the same, I prefer the Fusion's color scheme a little more.

That's my two pennys.

The Milan was our choice. The head and taillights as well as the grill, caught our eyes. We bought the Premier and is this car loaded. From it’s two-tone leather interior to classy dash arrangement. Everything about it, is just magnetic.

PS: Take a good look at the Dark Charcoal/Medium Light Stone two-tone Leather Trim, in the Premier Milan. :)

I never considered the Mercury or the Lincoln. Not too sure why, but I didn't. To me, it seems like the Fusion is built to be a "fun" car, and the Zephyr and Milan are more "fancy" or something. Honestly, I've never seen either cousins up close.

My eyes prefer the Fusion, mostly because I like five-spoke alloys and the Mercury's interior has a few too many shades for my taste.

My site makes it easy to compare the prices of this or just about any other pair of cars.

Page for the Fusion: http://www.truedelta.com/models/fusion.php

Page for the Milan: http://www.truedelta.com/models/milan.php

These pages include a list of the six most common price comparisons for each model. I was just surprised to see that the Fusion is compared most often to the Hyundai Sonata.

I work at a Ford-Mercury dealer and sales wise we're seeing much higher demand for the Fusion. Residual values are also slightly higher on Fusion.

My opinion is that I like the Milan interior (extra dome lamp, covered cupholders, chrome around gauges), prefer the Milan LED taillamps (for LED, not completly sold on the Japanese look of the shape, but is rapidly growing on me), I like the Milan Headlamps because they make the car look wider. Also all the V6 Milans have the Crome exhaust tips.

Having said all that we bought a Fusion because I really like the chrome trim and Grille. We went black and on the dark colors all that chrome really stands out. If I were buying a lighter color I'd have probably went with the Milan.

We don't have Mercury in Canada so the Milan was never an option.

Personally I find the Fusion to be better looking (more sporty + I like all the chrome). I find the Milan's interior is a bit nicer than the Fusion. I really don't like the faux-carbonfibre in the SE ... I feel like driving down to the states one day after work and picking up the Milan part ...

I like the Fusion, it was designed first, then cloned into the other two, and to me the body lines of the Fusion
don't translate well onto the L/M versions, the rear bumperline on the Fusion blends into the taillights, where
on the other two it don't there is too much plastic under the lightsm they revamped the sheet metal for each car,
they couldn't give them a better seem line to better blend the bumper to the lights?. I don't like the square front end
of the Lincoln it don't fit the rest of the lines of the car, and looks way too damn serious, where the Milan & Fusion looks
like a happy Chinaman (no insult intended).

I don't like 7 or 10 spoke rims, they don't look right on cars to me (I don't like plastic wheel covers either).
there is nothing that to me that the Milan can offer me that I don't have on my car, and the Lincoln's interior
is way too ugly, and sqaurish to go with the car at all. anyway to me Lincoln is nothing but a Ford with better
leather and an air ride, so why waste the money on one if you can get the exact same car in a Ford or Mercury.

I don't need a 20 way power heated leather covered sofa seat in a car, or a DVD system in the dash or a damn
lazy mans button to recline a rear seat that a 2 year old kid could put down without thinking. or fity controls on
the steering wheel that do the same thing that extending your arm a little bit more can do, I like luxury and ease
while driving, but come on there is an extent, what's next the car drives itself?, take a bus or call a cab. too many
people are lazy when driving without all those "distracting you eyes from the road while you rear end someone, while
talking on your cell phone, eating a donut, drinking you coffee & doing you hair" little "un"neccesities in a car.

I will never waste my hard earned mony on anything more than a BMW 3 series ($35 - $38k) , and that is not for
the comforts, but would be to have a sports type car to play with. I would still not get any other options, enough
comes standard on it for me. plus unlike Ford / Lincoln, there is no lower line to buy, BMW is BMW.

just my expirienced opinion about "luxury" cars and after being rear-ended by a person reaching for their cell phone.

Milan styling = "mom going to the grocery store"
Fusion styling = classy, sophisticated, edgy, and muscular all at the same time
Zephyr styling = "oh no, we f'd up a great Ford design and rebadged it as a Lincoln!"

the milan looks really good in person.

fusion i think is OK for a while, but after awhile it looks like a stupid ricer car.

zephyr has weird tail lights and the front is not as attractive as the milan

the milan is the best looking one, and also the best looking interior

the Milan has the exact same interior as the Fusion, ooo it has shiny metal trim, to me that looks cheap. and I am
tired of the same old woodgrain look as well, so the piano black on the Fusion looks the best. the Fusion does not
look like a rice burner, if it does so does the Caddy's & the BMW's that share some of the looks that this car has.
the Fusion is far more stylish and sportier than the other two. the Milan would be fine if you could get the damn
thing with 5 spoke wheels, the 7 & 10 spokes on the others look rediculas, they don't do anything for the car, if
you want to blend in, get the Milan or the Lincoln, but if you want to stand out a little more, you need something
more sportier, I have never heard anyone yet walk up to a Milan and ask what is that, the Fusion turns more heads.

I look the other way when I see Caddy's, Lincolns & all the other overpriced "Luxury" cars, that are nothing more than
flash and not very impressive. like the Lexus is an over priced Toyota. to me it is more unimpressive to have to pay more,
for the same car when you don't really get much of anything more, than more shit than you need in a car. ooo ooo I get a V8
option, so what?, still the same car, if I wanted a V8 I'd get a Mustang.

piano black is plastic. that stuff looks cheaper than the metal trim. the metal trim in the milan acutally looks pretty good, it is more acura quality metal trim than say chevrolet quality.

the fusion looks liek a rice burner. and no, caddys and bmws do not

the 14 spoke wheels on the milan look great and stylish. it is part of what looks good on the milan
it makes it look more expensive. the aluminum grille also makes it looks more expensive whereas the ford razor blade grille looks cheap. (i'm not a fan of the chromed out VW grills either)

the fusion turns heads because it looks wierd, not because it looks good.

milan looks the best out of the 3. i bet you never seen one in person or driven one. i thought the fusion looked better at first, but after seeing all 3 cars in person, the milan is the clear winner.
