Someone on here had said that the bolt patterns were the same from the Fusion and the Taurus, not true. I BELIEVE that the bolt pattern is 5 lug, 4.5" on the Taurus, correct or not?? Because I tried mounting a Taurus wheel on my Fusion, just a HARE off... Fusion looks more to be 4.25".

5x114.3, technically. It should be more commonly referred as "4 on 4.5". Now, let me know if I am wrong, but any wheel from a Taurus, Sable, Cougar, etc etc should work. My Mustang wheel bolts up, but the offset is totally wrong. Just wanted to see, lol.

It really should work, actually.

Oh really...

Yeah, but the Mustang and Fusion are the same, and I know for 100% that the Mustang is 5x114.3.

Ford's finally switching over to this 5x114.3 bolt pattern. That's the same as all Japanese cars that use 5-lugs and most GM and Chrysler too I think. But the older Taurus, Thunderbird and the LS line all used different bolt patterns. The most recent Cougar and Contour and the Focus were/are 4-lug wheels, so those won't work. But the 500, Explorer, Edge, Escape, Mustang all use the 5x114.3 now. So most new Ford wheels are interchangeable. FYI the 18in Fusion wheel for 08 is actually a repainted Edge wheel!
