I have an Inspiron E1505 I am trying to get rid of before I ger a MacBook Pro for my upcoming birthday. I am asking for $430 shipped. It is just over a year old and in okay condition. There is scratches on the housing. Also, there is a blemish on the screen that is hardly noticable. ONLY ACCEPTING MONEY ORDERS.

Here are the specs on it:
* Intel Core Duo processor T2300 (2MB Cache/1.66GHz/667MHz FSB)
* 1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz, 2 Dimm
* 80GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive
* 8X CD/DVD Burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer DVD+R write capability
* Windows Media Center Edition + Genuine Windows Media Center Edition re-installation CD

Pictures:

That is the hardly noticable blemish on the screen

Only money orders? Shit I don't trust money orders and also $550 shipped is just way to much. They sell for around $300 on ebay.

The buyer has no protection and the seller can be scammed by fake money orders. They are all over the internet, people scamming peopling with fake money orders and whoever cashes the money order gets screwed over because the bank takes the money from the person who deposit. So I decided not to accept money orders as payments or even use them at all.

but if he was to get scammed by a fake money order how would the buyer have no protection? i doubt he would mail it out until that money order is cleared! it would make sense, i know for sure i wouldnt send out something that was sold if the money wasnt cleared. Either way the buyer would be protected because its like a check if it dont clear, no product gets sent, if it bounced it goes back to the buyer not the seller... USPS, is pretty safe with money orders. its like paypal but old school style.

also bout how its sold on ebay for 300, thats why its ebay.. its not actually sold just for 300 its being auctioned you could get it for 300 if your lucky, and two.. if u see the specs for his notebook for 300, people would be all over that, and have a bidding war on ebay, so then it wouldnt be 300.. it could be more.. u never know of what expectations u would get on ebay..

but back on topic.... i'd buy this but i still have my vaio so i dont need ur laptop hahaha

You're kidding right?! Show me a laptop with the specs like mine that they're selling for $300. You arent bidding on this laptop. You are buying as that price. Buy it now prices for a laptop like this on Ebay run from 700 dollars and up. :huh

LOL, how about if it does clear it is possible for the seller to not ship the item, then you have no protection. I don't worry about that now because you got rep on this forum so I trust you. I just think the price is just too much.

If you need money right away I suggest you post it on craigslist. I sold my laptop within a week on there.
