As the title says I have a 28-200mm USM 3.5-5.6 Canon lens I need to sell, I bought a 28-135mm IS and need to get rid of the 28-200mm, Im looking to get $330shipped for the lens to anywhere in the US. Please shoot me a PM or an email if you have any questions.

ahh.. thanks.. i was hoping for something sharper. Thanks tho. How you liking the 28-135 IS?

off topic, if you are into prime lens, you should check out EF 50mm f/1.8 II. It's cheap, and it's awesome.

^^ have it, no canon owner should not have the 50mm 1.8 mkII or the Mk I even.

They are resized images so they arent as sharp as the originals.

the 28-135 is nice, IS is great and it takes some sharp photos. I actually own two 28-135's mainly because my loved mine so I just bought her one for her 10D

Being a Nikon guy, I generally buy faster glass vs. IS (VR in Nikon terms). The price is pretty similar across both ranges.

The 28-135 was awesome. I had it when I had my EOS-3 but sold it about a year ago after getting rid of the body (hey, i was a poor college kid and needed the money) The funny part is that i only got about half of what i paid for the camera 3 years ago but when i sold the lens, it went for about 50 bucks less than what i paid for it.

But in the canon world you get both IS and USM.  USM for Ultrasonic Motor the 28-135 IS USM rocks so far

but back to this lens the 28-200 is a USM lens so its super fast focus lens with great sharpness.

you know, I have mine... but I never really use it. 50mm on a 1.6x body is just an odd range. it's a smidge too long indoors, and kinda short outdoors (that and I really really like my 85 f/1.8). I'm actually considering selling it.. ha.

btw, if you haven't tried, the forums over at fredmiranda have a great FS/T section. just don't get sucked into buying stuff you don't need

^^ 85 1.8 is a great lens also, Ill be replacing my 50 1.8 sometime with an 85 1.8 or just 1 50 1.4 but for a startup lens you cant go wrong with the crisp pictures a 50 1.8 gives you

heh, true. it is a very nice lens. I'm spoiled by versatility though w/ my 18-50 f/2.8 sigma. I've thought of selling my 85 too, it's a great portrait lens.. but.. well.. it's rare I ever touch that

Meh, I passed on it. W/ the digital crop I went for the 35/2 instead. More money, but closer to the 50mm prime I was used to on my old film rig.
