Picking up a new Fusion on Monday. When I was leaving the dealer I noticed the front plate bracket is installed on the car. If I remove it does it leave visible holes on the front of the car?

SoCal, are the holes predrilled on all of the cars? I never noticed them on other cars on the lot.

This is one thing I made sure my dealership did not do. They thought I was crazy  because everytime I would call I would remind them not to put that damn thing on. I had become the joke of the dealership.... even the sales manager was making coments. I got my wish.... NO PLATE. Anyway a good boodyshop should be able to hide the holes for you.

I definetely requested my car not to have a plate on the front and they said "no problem" considering the car wasn't even on there lot yet. It was still over at the factory. I went to pick it up and there was the plate on the front!!!!! I went off about it and then they said that it wasn't in their control and that the factory did it. I don't believe that. I really need to take mine to the shop so I can take the bracket off.

They are probably right. My dealership told me that some cars come off the line with them and some don't.

WELL I TRIED TO TAKE OFF MY BRACKET YESTARDAY AND NOTICED IT WAS PUT FROM THE INSIDE. THE CREW AREN'T ACCESSABLE FROM THE OUTSIDE AND I COULDN'T GET MY HAND ANYWHERE INSIDE THE BUMPER TO FIND THE HEADS. IT LOOKS LIKE THE DEALER WAS TELLING THE TRUTH. MORE THAN LIKELY THEY RECIEVED THE CAR LIKE THIS. THAT SUCKS. I'D RATHER HAVE THE HOLES THAN THAT BIG BRACKET.
