Well I figured most states police cars use nothing but blue lights. Here in nj our police use red/blue, volunteer firefighters use just blue.

So in other states I would be considered impersonating a police officer.

Yup and I love it.

I encourage anyone else who is even just thinking about it to do it. I guarentee you will love it.

Cool :)

I live in the big city, no volunteer force out here.

Our department is slowly transitioning into a full paid department. I took the test, now I am just waiting for the results.

Cool -- I have a Hot Wheels Fusion cop car. I have never seen a real one though. Surely someone in a small town has one. Small towns typically turn anything into cop cars (at least the town I grew up in did).

I have seen those emergency lights for sale online. They are cool. Would be fun using them at night while trailing cars at random. However, I am sure the cops would definitely give you a lot of heat for that.
