I waited until the new car smell was all gone before buying the Meguiars spray for leather and using it. After application I noticed (I have the black on black interior) that the seats were not slimy or slippery but they do make that noise a lot more (you know that sound leather makes when you move on it, kind of like someone farting). The seats did look a bit shinnier than original and now have a deep black color. I have a bit of an experiment going on. On the driver seat which gets the most use, I used leather cleaner (a mix of mink oil, aloe, and some other junk) which I bought for my coat, and the rest of the leather was treated with Meguiars. The Meguirs was the most expensive one on the shelf but the mink oil stuff costs twice as much for about half the quantity. After comparing the two, the drivers seat is as soft as the other seats, doesn't have a film or slim, isn't shiny and the color isn't a deep black. After a while I'll look around and see how they compare and will try to update this thread if I can find it again. I didn't bother adding pics because the camera can't really pick up the differences that clearly.
