The Ford's advantages over the new Impala include interior and trunk space, transmissions, and available AWD.
The New Impala's advantage is an available V8.

I'd say if you want power go Chevy, for everything else, go Ford. However, both cars will give thier brand loyalists much to brag about.

Guy I work with asked me what I thought about the 2 today... he has a GMC right now, gonna keep that, and he's looking at one of those 2 vehicles for a car.

not to sound to nationalistic, but go USA! I feel so much better about the direction out motor companies are going in. Hell if we could blow up the unions, we would all be driving killa' cars.

Why blow up the Unions? Just make the CEO's take a million dollar pay cut. Get rid of the dead weight workers that don't come to work and take advantage of unions. I say bring more of the hot cars from other countries that Ford and GM make. Most of those have what we really want. Looks and Power.

Better mph
More fun to drive (my opinion)
safer than the chevy in crash test ratings
bigger more comfort in the back seat.
looks sharp! I would rather pull up to a party in a 500 (my opinion)
