Ditto! I would love exactly the same thing, but I am sure that Ford would charge an arm and a leg for the lights, housings, switch, etc. It would be great if someone could manufacture a fog light set that would go into the exising body holes--with either chrome or black surrounds. Anyone know what they cost from Ford?

Not for that sort of thing. If you find a company that is doing it, be sure to encourage them to come onboard.

I don't know if you've pulled off the black light covers yet but Ford was gracious enough to provide mounting tabs for the driving lights to be attached. The tabs are in a verticle position towards the inside of the opening so if you buy lights make sure they will swivel in the housings. The covers pull out fairly easy by pulling the cover straight out from the deep end then pushing the cover towards the center of the fascia. You'll also need to remove 4 small 7mm screws from the splash cover on the bottom and pull the cover down to gain access to the whole area and possibly remove the intake sound chamber.

Look around the fog light area and see if the wiring is there. On my Focus I just had to plug in the foglights, replace the headlight switch with one for foglights and plug in a relay for them to work, I'd be suprised if Ford didn't use the same wiring most of the cars so I bet it would be plug and play.

I don't know if you'll see an aftermarket kit from Ford Accesories since the Job #2 Fusions (mid year production, I think mid December) with the SE Sport package now have Fog lights. They have the black housings instead of the SEL chromes.

The black bezels look terrible on anything but black, you can get CHROME ones from dealer to replace the black, base part # 17E810. You'll need to know your vehicle build date, they list for $28.73 each, not too bad. As far as I know there are no Aftermarket kits available yet. If nothing is out soon, I will do it the hard way, peice by peice. I have started a parts list to get all of the lights, bezels, headlamp switch seperately. I will just have to figure out the wiring.

Was at the dealer today and saw an SE with fog lights and a sunroof.  The fogs were surrounded by black plastic instead of chrome.  Looked okay on the black car.

ajp745li , Do you happen to have a full part # on the chrome bezels? The parts guy I'm dealing with says can only get complete fog lamp assy. Anyone else get just the chrome bezel?

Thanks

Sure Cudos-

LH is 6E5Z-17E811-A, RH is 6E5Z-17E810-A. List prices are $28.73 each. These will be the CHROME , not black bezels. For the SEL, but both the black and the chrome will fit. I did check, these parts are readily available from Ford, they would be at the dealer in 1-2 days. The Left side may take loger, the only parts depot that has it is in Detroit, MI.

Sorry I think I worded that poorly. The black bezel is sealed as there is no bulb. How does the chrome bezel look with no bulb in it? Does it look like a black hole staring back at you

Thanks again
