Just thought I would pass on my Experience with Final Detail Wax. I just got a 07 Dark Blue Pearl Metalic Fusion. Drove it for 10 days and just gave it it's first wash. I then used Final Detail spray wax. This stuff is the best. The finish on my car was what I would consider perfect before the wax. But now it's a deep shine, and the surface is so smooth and slick. You just mist this stuff on and then buff it off. I used a mico fiber cloth and it was easy. I washed and waxed the car in 65 minutes. No was residue at all. The only thing I dont know yet is how long this stuff will last. But its so easy and quick I would not mind doing it monthly.

Anyone else ever use Final Detail ( I got it from qvc)

Re: Final Detail Wax on Black Fusion

I too have a Black Fusion SEL and I use to use Maguiars Quick Detailer for a quick shine and clean up inbetween polishes and waxing.

Yesterday I bought "ICE" Synthetic Spray Detailer by Turtle Wax and it is touted for leaving no white powdery residue. Used it with a microfiber cloth and the results were like the day it came out of the showroom but better.

Anyone try this stuff yet? (clear bottle blue sprayer top)

Haven't tried that yet, but their Ice car wash works really well and leaves my car with a deep, wet shine. I was surprised because previous Turtle Wax products I've used weren't anything great.
