I got a quote yestarday from my local Ford dealership for a spoiler. Its the one that sits up about 3" and has the third brake light in it. They said for the cost, paint, and install it was going to be $695 plus tax. They are out of there mind. Talk about markup.

I'm not sure where they are getting that price from? Our catalog won't pull up any sort of price for the 07 fusion spoiler nor will our connection with Ford parts division. Its not available anywhere yet. It does state that it exists but thats about it. Here is a picture of it if your interested, all i have on this part.

I know it exist becuase I was there last night and they have about 3,4, or maybe 5 fusions with it and thats why I ask about it and they said its not factory and they put it on aftermarket. So I asked how much. But I would really like to have one of the lip sploiers that just sticks to the trunk instead of having to drill holes in a new car. Thanks for the info though. I have already ordered some floor mats and fog light inserts from partscheap.com. I'm still waiting on them though.

there are no spoilers from the factoy for the 2006. might be one in 2007. there aftermarket ones out there you can get for less the $200.painted to match.

Both of those remind me of the Almighty Taurus SES with the tacked-on factory spoiler. I prefer a clean rear deck, with perhaps a subtle lip spoiler at most. Even the Mustangs look like crap with the factory spoiler option.

I have to agree with you on that. I think 95% of the large wings look out of place on 99% of the vehicles they are installed on. I do like the more subtle lip spoilers and like the ones on the 1995 Mustang GT where it was like an oversized lip spoiler. If you can see daylight between the spoiler and the deck lid I usually don't care for it.
