Does anyone know if the EZ-Pass transponder will transmit through the center compartment on the dashboard? That seems like a good place to keep if, and not have to mount it to your windshield.

Well, sounds like a great idea. I guess its worth a V-toll to try. I currently have mine on the windshield.

Okay, for anyone who cares, the EZ-Pass DOES work if you leave it in the center compartment on the dash. I just have it sitting in there, top closed, and it worked for me just fine today. I thought it would be a good way for we Fusion owners to get the over-sized piece of plastic off our windshields. Hope this is good news for some of you!

Has anyone tried it in the speed lanes like they have in DE?

We have so-called open road tolling here in IL. I guess it's something similar to your speed lanes. Mine worked fine at 70-80 mph.
