For sure! Plus the clearance on that looks incredible. Provided they put a good suspension and drive train in it I bet it could keep up with a Jeep offroad and still get the kids to soccer practice on time :lol:

Looks good, but the utility (cargo space) looks to be quite small. Maybe not? I'll have to see the numbers. The current/previous ones were quite useful. I had 2 Mariners. They were excellent in snow. My ground clearance was as high as my brothers GX470.

I talked to a ford engineer that was driving one of these around. I really like it, I think it is a huge upgrade from the current escape. They are slightly smaller then the current escape, but I guess that is not that shocking.

From what I see, this is just a concept. There are already pics of the new escape floating around on the internet. And sadly it doesn't look ANYTHING like this. =( The new one looks like an oversized focus.
