My friends and I are debating if it’s possible place a 2018 Ford Fusion sport 2.7L V6 engine into a 2013 Ford Fusion 2.5L V4 . I think it not possible but they think it is . Thoughts ? .

Hi FisforFusion. Tell them they can say they are right after they do it. ;)

This is one of those "How many angels can dance on the head of a pin" questions, since your friends will never do it anyway. But what the heck, let's play along.

Is it "Possible"? Sure, anything is "possible" if you throw enough time, money, labor and sweat at it. Someone has even turned a Fusion into a RWD, Coyote V-8 powered sedan. However, it is not just an engine. By the time someone swapped the 2.7L EcoBoost engine, transmission, PCM, TCM, Sport suspension components and pretty much all other computer controls and ancillary accessories, it would be less expensive and far less aggravating to buy a Fusion Sport.

Good luck convincing your friends though. ;)
