My Fusion is from Wisconsin and it lists the engine block heater as included on the window sticker, but my dealer says I have to purchase the plug for a whopping $95. Is this typical? Seems outrageous to me. My car sits in an unheated garage and this would be nice to use this winter for both my engine and myself. Any ideas?

most factory installed ones that require the harness can be rigged to work with a regular extension cord. But i would do more research before you start playing with hooking up 110 volts to your car
