emergency braking

i performed an emergency braking today on a mercury milan. do i need to be worry that the suspension, brakes or tires are damaged?

Did you lock the wheels up? Do you have ABS? If you locked the wheels, how long did you slide? I've seen a pair of front tires that was completely destroyed from a stop from about 35-40mph. If you don't have ABS, you need to know how to threshold brake. Locking up is not the fastest way to stop.
