Yeah, let me set up one for ya ;)

Dan may nix the generosity though - go figure :p

Did you want to have to check the account separately (like logging on someplace and checking M3F mail) - or did you just want mail forwarded if sent to [email protected] ?

you need to tell me if you want a mail forward or if you want to check the mail separately.

Can I have both? That is my email addy?

You can't do both (at least, not easily or pragmatically) - you have to decide if you want the mail to forward to your normal gmail, hotmail, yahoo, whatever account; or if you want to have to log into a special place on m3f to check email.

If you want a forward, please let me know exactly which email address you want to forward to.

or you could throw it into the PM inbox

naw, that is way too complex...... i think untouchable will regret having to check his email by having to log into a special site on m3f..... oh well. He likes being weird I guess.

It's too complex to have email sent to your PM inbox.

Now, having to log into some weird URL to check m3f mail - that's just tedious and you'll probably give up on that after a while ;)

easiest is to just have mail sent to "[email protected]" sent to your permanent email (ie: yahoo, google, etc)

Gotcha! So for those that already have my email, will they have to send emails to '[email protected]' instead of the other name or will they still be able to send it like normal and I will recieve it?

Naw..... no problems for existing people. The real benefit is that from this point forward, you can give out "[email protected]" to people and when they send you email, it will go to your current, permanent account. People just sending messages to your current, permanent account won't have anything to worry about. With most email programs (ms outlook, eudora, etc), you can filter your inbox to shuttle messages originally sent to [email protected] into a separate inbox.... although I am unsure if you can do this with gmail/hotmail/msn/etc.
