I can't seem to find a reliable Host for TSB/Recalls. So for now PM me with an email address and TSB number. I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks.

How can I find out when my car was built? Whe reading some of these TSBs they talk about 07 modles built back on 06. Just curious. Thanks for these TSBs. Where do you get them? Is there a way to do one big mass download from your briefcase? I have yahoo as well, how did you go about setting up your briefcase and using it?

Hi pfunk76. :wavey: The build date (month and year), is listed on the light blue and white sticker, located on the drivers door jamb of your car. You can also get the info (day, month and year) from your Ford Dealer.

Good luck!

Is there a way to look up any TSB's for a certain year/model to see what is out there for the car.
I have a 2010 Fusion SE I4.
Thanks

Hi lobe. :wavey: The NHTSA (nhtsa.gov) website shows 1 TSB for the 2010 Fusion (although it lists it 4 times under 4 different "headings"). I can't swear this is the only TSB for the 2010 Fusion, but it is the only one listed on the NHTSA website:

Make : FORD Model : FUSION Year : 2010
Manufacturer : FORD MOTOR COMPANY
Service Bulletin Number : TSB-09-12-13 Date of Bulletin : DEC 01, 2009
NHTSA Item Number : 10031044
Component : SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:ANTILOCK:CONTROL UNIT/MODULE
Summary :
FORD/MERCURY: SOME VEHICLES MAY EXPERIENCE ELECTRONIC NOISE ON THE MAIN POWER FEED CIRCUIT TO THE BRAKE CONTROL MODULE WITHIN THE 14290 WIRING HARNESS. *PE

You can also go to your local Ford Dealers Service Department and ask them to check the OASIS system for outstanding TSB's on your vehicle.

Now an opinion, although fact based: Philosophically speaking, unless an owner is having some type of specific/identifiable problem or issue with their vehicle, it is best to "kinda-sorta" ignore the existence of TSB's.

Here is why: Most TSB's are simply informational bulletins to the Dealer concerning mundane and unimportant issues. Unfortunately, when some owners see a list of TSB's, the list becomes a "self-fulfilling prophesy".

For example: If there is a TSB about a squeak in the dashboard and how to identify and eliminate it, people who have never heard a single squeak in their dashboard are suddenly rushing to the Dealerships with squeaky dashboards they want fixed. Not saying everyone is like that, but you would be surprised.

In other words, some people want every single fix ever mentioned in every TSB performed on their car, even when their car does not have the problems mentioned in the TSB's.

Therefore, many Dealers will not run OASIS reports for TSB's, unless you have a specific issue or problem. Then they will run a report for that specific type of issue.

Anyway, the one TSB I could find is listed above.

Good luck.

PS - Or you can send a PM to ciscoford23 (as he mentions above) and ask him if he will E-Mail you a list of 2010 Fusion TSB's. Remember to also include an E-mail address he can send the list to (as he also mentions above).
