Here's a question for '06 owners? I've seen a few people have complained about their seats looking worn already after less than a month.

Is the leather in your car really smooth or does it have some decent texture in it?

My '07 leather (w/ heat) is holding up nicely so far after a month but I've noticed that it's more textured that say my wife's '07 Mariner leather seats. The leather in that car is butter smooth but it shows creases and butt stretch marks more than mine. She's 110 lbs and I'm 190.

Perhaps the more textured stuff is a little thicker?

in my experience cars with real leather or soft leather tend to show more wear and tear. The fusions leather seems like it will hold up better than the soft stuff, I know all the bimmers I've seen with the leatherette look much better over time than the real stuff.

My 06 has some texture to the leather around the outside, but where your butt sits it is much more "pleather" in nature. The textured stuff does crack, but I treat the leather every month which prevents most of the cracking.
