My daughter just bought a new 2012 Ford Escape Limited that supposedly is 4WD. Problem is, there is no "badging" on the body anywhere proclaiming it to be a 4WD nor is there anything on the dashboard saying it is 4WD. Now I'm wondering if it is 4WD after all.
I own a 2007 Escape 4WD and there is a badge right on the dash saying it is 4WD, but the lack of anything on my daughters Escape has me concerned. We paid for 4WD and the sticker says 4WD but that doesnt prove anything. Any ideas? (I am currently under the weather and cannot get out to look underneath for a driveshaft etc.)
