I'm getting a custom exhaust on my 06 v6 sel just wondering if anyone had suggestion on size of pipping, types of mufflers, etc???

thats sounds pretty chill, but wouldn't getting larger piping like 3" allow for better air flow, after this exhaust gets put on a CAI is going on Steeda looks like the best bet I've been calling K&N though cuz ive used their products forever and they work great for all my other toys, but the big thing I want to do to the fusion is to put this new super/turbocharger combination I read in a magazine think it was called a centrifugal turbo something like that it pretty much was the super charger pully system attached to a turbo. This is just a fun project car.

Depends how far you're going to change your exhaust, the exhaust manifolds and cats. are pretty restricted, and you do need some back pressure.

3" would be seriously overkill for any V6 that's not FI.

Yea, I'd say 2.5 is a pretty safe number. If you NEEDED bigger then I think your pulling too much power for fusion 6 speed auto. Just in my opinion.

P.S. Just bought a 07 v6 mustang MTX and it has a 2.5" on the 4.0l v6.
