Compressor stopped working

I tried to turn on my air this past weekend and noticed that my air compressor won't come on. And, I got up one morning and noticed my rear defrost doesn't work! Does anyone knows what could be going wrong? I did blow a fuse when I was doing my signal light mod by mistakenly taping a hot and ground together. I replaced that fuse. So I am wondering could it have blown a fuse for my compressor and rear defrost, even though I checked all the fuses and they were fine.

Perhaps I am misreading your post, but what is your "air compressor"? Do you mean the "condenser" for your air conditioning system? Assuming that is what you mean (and even if that is not what you mean), the answer is yes, it is entirely possible that you screwed something up while cutting and incorrectly reattaching your wiring system.
Check your Owner's Manual to see what other peripherals work off the same circuits that you hacked into. I can not be sure as I have an MKZ, and don't know if the electrical system is wired exactly the same as the Fusion's (with the engine change, it most likely is not ).
Good luck.
