Has/is anyone had/having a problem with a fairly large noise coming from the passenger side of their car when going over a sharp bump? Almost like a loose muffler or two weights hitting together? My car was in the shop for 3 days and I am told that they hear the same noise in the service managers car so "It is a normal trait of the vehicle" I have not had a chance to drive his car yet. Sounds fishy to me since it is a pretty regular occurrence. I cannot believe that more people haven't complained if all these cars did this

Sounds like bull as ur said. I thought I had this problem awhile back turned out the door wasn't completely shut, thank god it didn't open while driving! :lol: Best of luck man

Surprisingly the visor makes a lot of noise if it is not in all the way.

I doubt that is your problem though. Try a different dealer if you can or ask for a ride in the manager's car.

The only noise I have from the my Milan in 22,000+ miles is that it will squeak over speed bumps when I first drive it in the morning when it very cold in the morning. (0 to 15 degree or so)

I have that same noise, I thought it was in the front end, but lately, It seems to be coming from the middle of the car. I had a couple of appt. but had to cancel, cause my other driver is a Lightning, don't want to drive it when the roads are bad

I have the same problem, but I haaven't been listening for it so that's why I haven't heard it lately. To me, it sounds like it's coming from the passenger side rear door area. I mentioned it to the mechanic during my servicing but to my surprise they didn't find anything. :shock: So....I decided not to worry about it because it will only get worse and get it taken care of then.

Had the same problem. Noise coming from the passenger side when going over a bump. Took the car to the service department with the TSB 06-24-7. After having my car for two days they had to order some parts to have it fixed. Took the car today to the dealer to have the parts installed. I'll be picking up the car tommorrow (they said they had to weld something...) so I'll let you guys know what happened...

Received a call today from the service department... They are now saying that the car will be ready tomorrow. So, another day withot my car

Finally got my car yesterday. I haven't noticed the noise the car had before the TSB was performed. The car does feel a bit more firm and tight than before (they had to weld something) or is just an impression that I have after driving my mom's 1998 explorer!!! :dur: I will keep you all posted if anything new develops
