Wrap the kids and wife up in plastic before you throw them in the car - well....at least add a few little poke holes for air 
Actually, about 3-4 days ago I was getting my carpets shampooed at a local place and told this guy about the red colored spots that I had on the inside of my car. I had tried just about everything to get them out and nothing worked. Well, he had 10 million things in little bottles and he grabbed one of them, squirted it onto the carpet, and rubbed it in so vigorously that my car started shaking. 10 minutes later he shampooed that area of the carpet and the spots were completely gone. I'm going to have to ask him what he used.
