What's your budget?  If you have a Palm or Pocket PC with bluetooth you can utilize it with a separate bluetooth piece which receives the satellite signal and passes it along to your Palm or Pocket PC.  Here is a good website with a forum with all kinds of good research:

I have a Lowrance Iway 500C and it has a great screen, but too large to fit my new Fusion (the angle of the windshield is too much to fit).  I am in the market for a new unit as well.

im also looking for a nav system... for me and parents...

im def needing something ins big screen range.. but only garmin has a 7200 and 7500(dead reakon feature) with 7inch screen... clarion has the NICE but iv read bad reviews..


and other piont is needs to be portable..

allso looked at the newest tom toms/garmins with 3.5/4' screen...

so many things to consider...

whats the cycle on these for the next versions?

Not going to say that the Tom tom is a bad unit but when I was at circuit city looking at them I did a test from my circuit city to my house and when I was to take a left the unit told me to take a right. The screen even showed it turning left. Just a buyer beware.
