·I am a volunteer firefighter. So late last night at 3 in the morning we get a call and i gotta rush to the fire station. Wel I run out to my car and put it in "D" drive. But I didn't notice it until I got on main street where i can hit speeds of 60 if I wanted that it wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear. So I'm like WTF. It felt like I was in "L" for low. But I was actually in drive. So halfway their the check engine light comes on and im like great. Cuz it wouldn't shift it's gonna blow up on me. So this morning at 7 took it to the dealership and he said most likely cuz it was cold and you tried driving fast, you were ready, but you car wasn't. And I'm like ok, understandable. But then I'm like what about the check engine light. He said moisture from condensation or who knows where may have been picked up by sensors from your fuel line. But nothing major. So with everything back to normal, I just hope it doesn't happen again.
