Hello;
I hope everyone is having a good day, I have a 2017 ford fusion and the other day my sister was driving and the check brake system warning came on with a lot of sound, or in short just being an attention grabber, No worries I took it to the mechanic and he told me it is a "bad vacuume pump" and it will cost about 338$ usd to get it fixed, even tho the car drives brakes perfectly and the brake pedal doesnt feel mushy or hard nor does it feel less resposive, I tried searching online for causes and not a lot was found, but I did find that someone just replaced his 12v battery and the error went away.
How do I approach this? any suggestions?
