CD Player seems dead

anyone else have this issue, all of a sudden, the CD player wont read CDs, it trys to scan CD and comes back bad CD.. but they arent bad, i have tried multiple ones...?

Who makes this CD player anyways? i have a 06 SEL V6 no audiophile.

Yup sounds familiar. Me and my partner just bought 2 new Fusions. His CD player had the same problem from the get-go and the dealer swapped it out. Mine was working fine up until today when it stopped reading any CD's. Gonna have to make yet another trip back to the dealer and have them fix this.

Hopefully these problems aren't an indicator of reliability of this car in the future. Glad I haven't sent in my "ford report card" thing yet :)
